First-half trebles topples Selsey at Lancing

THREE first-half goals by Lancing condemned the Blues to a 3-2 defeat in division one of the Sussex League at Culver Road.

Despite Max Thoms striking in each half, Selsey failed to capitalise on Lancing having two men sent off.

Adam Hinshelwood’s side hadn’t played for three weeks and Lancing were 3-0 up within half an hour. Graham Martin opening the scoring on two minutes, Charlie Walker grabbed his 20th league goal of the season on 22 minutes and Adam Hunt netted soon after.
