Norwood was part of the Albion squad who won promotion as runners-up from the Championship in 2016/17, before he spent last season on loan at Fulham and helped the Cottagers win the play-off final at Wembley to go up to the Premier League.

The 28-year-old is aiming for a third successive promotion from the Championship this year as his Sheffield United side are third in the table, three points behind second-placed Leeds with four games to go.

Norwood signed for the Blades permanently in January after originally joining on loan from Brighton, who he feels will have enough to stay in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Norwood said: "Brighton had a disappointing result (against Cardiff on Tuesday) but I'm sure they've got enough in the dressing room and enough character from what I know about the lads who were there when I was.

"They've got enough about them to stay in the league definitely.

"They've got some fantastic players, fantastic lads and they have a real togetherness. I'm sure that will pull them through over the line."

All of Norwood's focus for the remainder of this season though will be on Sheffield United and completing a hat-trick of promotions on an individual level

He said: "We've put ourselves in a wonderful position.

"We've had a great season so far but we want to turn it into a dream season and get over the line."
