Former Lewes forward joins Haywards Heath Town

Haywards Heath Town have bolstered their ranks with the acquisition of Marcus Elliott from BetVictor South East rivals East Grinstead Town.

The striker was top goalscorer and named player of the season at the Wasps before he joined Lewes in November 2018.

Elliot left the Rooks to join East Grinstead on loan in January of last year.

The forward is the second signing made this week by manager Shaun Saunders.

Heath snapped up midfielder Dan Pearse, also from East Grinstead Town, on Monday.

Haywards Heath Town host Hythe Town in BetVictor South East on Saturday.
