GALLERY: Rocks, Chichester, Selsey and Pagham’s Easter football action

EASTER is always a busy time of year for football clubs and that was certainly true of teams in the Observer patch – with mixed results.

Bognor saw their hopes of sneaking into the Ryman premier play-offs go up in smoke as they lost 2-0 at Enfield and 2-1 at home to Lewes.

It was a holiday weekend to forget for Selsey, too, as they lost at 4-1 Loxwood and 4-2 at home to Pagham in division one of the county league.

Pagham were one of two county top-flight teams to pick up four points out of six in their two games –while they were drawing 0-0 with Lancing then beating Selsey, Chichester City were beating Broadbridge Heath 2-1 and playing out a goalless draw at Arundel.
