Game on despite the snow

Hastings United’s game away to Kingstonian tonight (Monday) is still on.

United’s official Twitter account just posted a message saying: “Not much snow in south-west London yet, so tonight’s match at Kingstonian is still on. If we start digging our way out of Hastings now...”

Both sides will be desperately hoping the Ryman Football League Premier Division match does beat the sudden cold snap having had their games postponed on Saturday because of waterlogged pitches.

Although in ninth place, Kingstonian have lost their last four league games so United, who have conceded just one goal in their last four fixtures in all competitions, will be hopeful of a positive result at Kingsmeadow.

The teams have yet to meet this season with the reverse fixture at The Pilot Field scheduled for the final day of the campaign on Saturday April 27. United player-manager Sean Ray will complete his four-match ban tonight in a match which will kick-off at 7.45pm.
