Girls just wanna have footballing fun at Chichester

PLAYERS, coaches and parents of the Chichester Youth girls' football club are looking forward to resuming action again up after the Christmas break.

The Saturday girls’ football club is ran on the front field of Chichester College from 10am to 11.30am

every week, including most of the school holidays.

The sessions provide a fun and relaxed environment for girls aged six to 14 to develop their football and

social skills.

They encourage parents to watch the sessions or to take advantage of the free parking at the college and go into town.

The centre is home to FA-qualified volunteer female coaches from Chichester City FC’s ladies’ section. They all have the relevant checks in place to ensure safety and fun at all times.

The cost is £2 per player, which is used to cover overheads as this is a non-profit making business.

Members of the youth football club play in tournaments and they are developing teams to play in the local leagues on a regular basis this year.

The first session is free, so why not go along with your daughter and join in the fun, develop new skills and meet new friends all with the common interest of football?
