Goldberg set to remain sidelined

Hastings United expect to again be without Bradley Goldberg as they seek a swift response to their weekend setback.

The club’s nine-goal leading scorer is likely to remain sidelined for the visit from Bognor Regis Town in the Ryman Football League Premier Division tonight (Tuesday).

Goldberg was forced off with a knock during the second half of the 3-2 win at home to Enfield Town a week ago and missed the 4-0 loss at Metropolitan Police on Saturday.

Player-manager Sean Ray was 90 per cent certain that full-back Jono Richardson will also miss out through injury after being substituted during the first half against Met Police.

But Bailo Camara, who scored one and made one against Enfield, is set to return after missing Saturday’s game as Ray hopes to put right what went wrong at Imber Court.

United are 17th in the table with 11 points from 10 games, while Bognor are seventh with 19 from 12 having come up from Division One South last season.

Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 7.45pm and if you can’t make it to the game, you can keep up to date with how the action unfolds by visiting @SimonNewstead on Twitter.
