Golds get back to winning ways

LITTLEHAMPTON Town Football Club returned to winning ways in the Southern Combination League Premier Division with an emphatic 5-0 victory over rivals East Preston this afternoon.

Strikes from George Gaskin, Scott Packer, Peter Beadle Dean Janman and a Jacob Atterbury own goal ensured Golds bounced back from their 4-1 league loss at Lancing last time out.

For Littlehampton it was the perfect way for them to end 2015, while defeat for EP leaves them with just a single win so far this campaign as they sit second-bottom in the table.

Golds kick off the new year with a hoke clash with Worthing United on Saturday, with East Preston travelling to Lancing on the same day.
