Golds had won 3-2 at home to YM in their Division 1 clash on Saturday and they did so again on Tuesday night at Gorings Mead, this time claiming a 2-1 victory.

Littlehampton keeper Jon Hendrick made an excellent save to deny Nick Sullivan after just three minutes, before Golds went ahead on 20 minutes.

Scott Packer crossed for Dan Simmonds, who tucked the ball away first time for his 13th goal of the season.

Packer then had an effort ruled out for offside and missed another chance from close range just before half-time.

Littlehampton doubled their lead with a goal of real quality 11 minutes from time. Following a number of one-touch passes Alex Kew set up Packer to make it 2-0.

Simmonds missed an opening for a third and Golds then had Ben Gray sent off for foul and abusive language with five minutes left.

YM pulled a goal back through Dan Sullivan with a minute to go but Littlehampton saw out the six minutes of injury-time to reach the last four, where they will face local rivals East Preston.
