The Stringers got off to a great start when a break from midfield saw Rhys Taylor tripped but the advantage played, with Joey Pout then steering home via the faintest of deflections in the 2nd minute.

Hailsham could have made it two soon after, with a fine ball finding Ellis Webster, who cut back for Connor Townsend to shoot over from 12 yards out.

The visitors would then record an opportunity of their own with a ball over the top well blocked, and the loose ball shot tamely at Wester Young, but Hailsham's second soon followed, with good work from Craig Norman and Ellis Webster seeing Webster cut the ball back for Rhys Taylor to drive home from the edge of the area.

Midway through the first half the visitors would record further opportunities - an acrobatic over from a cross from the right their most likely - but Hailsham continued to shine, with an industrious midfield display from Charlie Playford in particular, and on 40, made it 3-0 when a throw in and some tenacious work from Joey Pout carved out an opportunity for Rhys Taylor to slide home.

An action packed first five minutes of the second period saw Roffey make an early break and Taylor see a shot bundled around the near post, before the fourth of the evening for Hailsham followed on 51 - Joey Pout and Ellis Webster again linking up well in the buildup, with Connor Townsend marking his Beaconsfield return with a well taken shot on the turn beyond Andy Barr. With the visitors struggling to cope with Hailsham's quick tempo, a rare opportunity saw a good shooting opportunity spurned when a free kick from 30 yards out was sent into the tennis courts, whilst Townsend was denied a second by a decent Barr save.

Hailsham, first to every ball throughout the night, continued to press, with Taylor in particular tormenting his full back all evening, and it was the youngster who added the icing on the cake, claiming his very well deserved hattrick on 80, with a deflected drive from the edge of the area.
