Hassocks throw away 4-0 lead, Heath win, Hillians draw and Rangers lose

Hassocks threw away a 4-0 half time lead to draw 4-4 with Hailsham today.

Phil Gault hit a hat-trick and Brad Bant the other as Hassocks appeared to be heading for their ninth straight win.

But Hailsham bounced back with Emmanuel Okinja scoring the equaliser two minutes from time.

Bottom club St Francis Rangers lost 4-1 but George Booker scored the cluib’s fourth league club of the season.

In division 1, Haywards Heath Town enjoyed a 2-1 win over Sotuhwick - the only team to beat Shaun Saunders’s side in the league this season. Rob O’Toole and Nathan Cooper scored the goals.

In Ryman League, Burgess Hill drew at home to Brentwood Town.
