The club has just confirmed that the Ryman Football League Division One South fixture at home to Worthing is on barring more heavy rain, in which case the match referee will make a decision.

The U’s will be seeking to make it back-to-back wins following their excellent 2-1 victory away to previously unbeaten Dorking Wanderers - the division’s leading scorers - on Saturday.

Sam Cole is available again after suspension for United against a Worthing side which has also won five and lost four of its opening nine league outings, but trails United on goal difference. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 7.45pm.

Bexhill United’s scheduled game at home to Ringmer in Southern Combination Football League Division One, however, has been postponed following all the rain which has fallen in the last 24 hours or so.
