A waterlogged pitch has put paid to tonight's Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup second round tie between AFC Uckfield Town and Hastings United
Hastings United Football Club’s game away to AFC Uckfield Town tonight (Tuesday) has been called-off.

Despite today’s pleasant sunshine, the pitch at The Oaks failed a second inspection this afternoon having been unable to dry out sufficiently from all the rain of yesterday.

The Parafix Sussex Senior Challenge Cup second round tie between Macron Store Sussex County Football League Division Two side Uckfield and Ryman Football League Division One South outfit United will now be played at a later date.

After a hectic first two-and-a-half months of the season, the postponement means that United will go into this Saturday’s league game away to high-riding Faversham Town without having played for 11 days.
