Hastings game off

Hastings United’s game at home to AFC Uckfield tonight (Tuesday) has fallen victim to the freezing weather.

The Sussex Senior Cup second round tie between Ryman League Premier Division outfit Hastings and Sussex County League Division Two side Uckfield has been postponed following a 2pm pitch inspection.

It means that Sam Adams’ one-match suspension will roll over again to the home league game against Folkestone Invicta on Saturday, although it will give Jimmy Elford and Ade Olorunda more time to regain fitness.

Sidley United’s match at home to Arundel in the Sussex Senior Cup tonight is still going ahead, although there will be a further pitch inspection at 3.30pm. News on the outcome of that inspection will follow.
