The U’s will entertain Hythe Town today (Saturday) and Folkestone Invicta on Tuesday night in Ryman Football League Division One South.

United have picked up six points from their opening three games, winning at home to Chipstead and away to Sittingbourne before losing at Chatham Town last weekend. Hythe have taken one point, while Folkestone boast nine out of nine.

United won 3-2 at home to Hythe in a Ryman League Cup first round tie on Tuesday, but with both teams likely to line up somewhat differently tomorrow, Wilson doesn’t expect that to have much bearing.

Wilson said: “I don’t think that will make much difference. It’s a different competition and different way of playing.

“It was important we got the result on Tuesday, but they will come as a different team on Saturday. I’m confident we can show the attacking prowess that we did on Tuesday.”

Jack Walder will return and Wilson hopes Sam Cole will be fit. Zac Attwood is doubtful, and Jerome Jibodu is heading back to the Dunstable area and will be leaving the U’s.
