The final Ryman Football League Division One South match of 2015 - as it would’ve been had it gone ahead - has been called-off due to a waterlogged pitch.

United have midweek fixtures scheduled for all of the next five weeks so the match may now not be played until well into February.

The postponement means that United will head into the new year lying 14th in the table, albeit with between four and seven games in hand on every other club. They are currently eight points outside the play-off places.

Next up for Garry Wilson’s side is a short journey to third-from-bottom Peacehaven & Telscombe this coming Saturday followed by another away game against Hythe Town next Tuesday night.
