Hastings set for Bexhill friendly

Hastings United will take on Bexhill United in a friendly at The Pilot Field tonight (Tuesday).

In-form Ryman Football League Premier Division side Hastings are likely to use the game as an opportunity have a look at a few players, including Danny Ellis.

Hastings are keen to bring skilful midfielder Ellis, pictured, back to the club from Sussex County League Division Two outfit Bexhill, for whom he has been playing this season.

Bexhill are expected to field just about their strongest available side, with key players Paul Henty and Ross Markham in line to return having missed the weekend league victory over Midhurst & Easebourne.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and admission is free.

Hastings’ league game at home to Lowestoft Town on Saturday December 10 has been postponed due to the opposition’s ongoing involvement in the FA Trophy. It will now take place on Tuesday January 17.
