Hastings began their 2019-20 programme with a goalless draw away to Cray Valley last August.

United go to Faversham Town for their second game on Saturday September 26.

With the campaign starting several weeks later than usual, the Christmas period will be busier than normal to help get games completed.

Hastings host Burgess Hill on Boxing Day, visit East Grinstead on Monday, December 28 then entertain Whyteleafe on Saturday, January 2.

Hastings face two away matches in 48 hours over Easter. They fly to Guernsey on Saturday, April 3 before making the shorter trip to Burgess Hill on Monday, April 5.

They will also play twice in three days over the May Day bank holiday weekend. They head to Three Bridges on Saturday, May 1 before entertaining East Grinstead on Monday May 3.

A trip to Whyteleafe on Saturday May 8 will wrap things up - assuming Hastings don’t finish in the play-off places for the fourth time since being relegated from the Premier Division in 2013.

Other games to look out for include the anticipated meetings with Ashford on December 19 (home) and February 13 (away).

The Isthmian League adds a note of caution, however, that things may have to change on the basis of the ongoing public health situation.

Hastings, of course, were sitting pretty at the top of the table when last season was halted - and subsequently declared null and void - due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
