Burgess Hill Town Football Club boss Ian Chapman feels one more win in the Ryman League Premier could well be enough to see his side to safety.

Hill picked up an impressive 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday.

The point extended Hillians winless league run to seven league matches but Chapman felt he saw enough from his side to ensure they can secure safety.

They currently sit 17th in the table, 11-points clear off the drop zone with seven games to play and Chapman feels one more league success could well be enough.

He said: “It was a really good performance at Dulwich. We took the lead and were a little unfortunate not to win the game.

“It’s been a really tricky run of fixtures for us, other than the two games against Brentwood Town we have played against teams in the top half of this division.

“We’ve picked up a few good results in that run and I believe another win could be enough to see us to safety.”

Chapman will be hoping his side can collect those much-needed three points over Easter.

Hill face two games in just three days as they host Leiston on Saturday, before travelling to Bognor Regis Town two days later.

Chapman knows they will face tough challenges but he want s that illusive win to come sooner rather than later.

He added: “Safety in this division is paramount for us. As I’ve said I think just one more win will be enough but we will not take anything for granted.

“It’s another two tough matches over Easter with Leiston and Bognor who are in the top six.

“But we’ve played well against better sides this season and I’m hoping we can pick up three points in one of those.”
