Hillians make their first summer signing

Burgess Hill Town have made their first summer signing with defender Andy Pearson joining the Club from Ryman Premier side Lewes.

Pearson, who can play at either centre half or full back, has also played for Whitehawk, Bognor Regis Town and started his career at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Manager Ian Chapman said “I’m delighted to have signed Andy. He is a good footballing centre half with good experience at this level and higher having helped Whitehawk to two league titles”.

Chapman was also pleased to announce that last seasons Player of the Year, Joe Keehan, has also signed on for next season, and the Manager will be announcing more news next week.

It has also been announced that Ian South has joined the Hillians to assist Paul Armstrong with the Youth Team.
