Martin Hinshelwood will take charge of Lewes for the next two fixtures as the club continue their search for a long-term successor to Garry Wilson.
Wilson and his assistant Danny Bloor departed the Dripping Pan by ‘mutual consent’ just days after their painful 2-0 derby defeat at Peacehaven.
Former Brighton boss Hinshelwood, 61, will be in the home dugout for Tuesday night’s (tonight) Ryman Premier fixture against Dulwch Hamlet at the Dripping Pan as well as their home clash against Enfield on Saturday.
Lewes are 19th in the table just six points above the relegation drop zone.
A statement from the club said: “Martin has a wealth of experience, both in non-league football as well as the Football League.
“The search for a new management team is underway but in the meantime I am sure you will join us in wishing Martin well for the next few games.”
