Hollington power into county final

Hollington United’s second team put in a magnificent performance to reach the Sussex Junior Cup final.

The ADA East Sussex Football League Division One leaders won 4-1 at home to Fittleworth, from the West Sussex Football League, in Saturday’s semi-final after opening up a 3-0 half time advantage.

Mark Larkin continued on the goal trail by scoring twice, with Gav Ramsden and Mark Coggon adding the others as Hollington went a step further than in 2005.

The final - scheduled to take place at Lancing on April 9 - could still be an all-East Sussex League affair. Ore Athletic continue their quest to retain the trophy on Saturday with a quarter-final away to Wittering United II.
