Hollington still in hunt

Hollington United kept their slim title hopes alive with a couple of wins in the Premier Division of the East Sussex Football League.

They won 4-2 against third-placed Peche Hill Select on Saturday. Danny Woodley, Darren Goodridge, Shane Ryan and Kenny McNaughton all netted for United with Nicky Stiles and Martin Reynolds grabbing the replies.

The following Tuesday they edged out Polegate Town 3-2 through Woodley (2) and Andy Garman. Hollington sit 10 points adrift of leaders St Leonards Social who only have to win their final match to retain the title.
