Horsham 4-1 Three Bridges

Billy Medlock scored his first hat-trick for Horsham as they comfortably beat near neighbours Three Bridges 4-1 at Gorings Mead.

Scott Tipper was also on target for the hosts as they made it four games unbeaten in the league with ten points from a possible 12 to continue their ascent up the Ryman South table.

For struggling Bridges the only cheer of a chilly day came when sub Danny Millard fired in a late consolation as they remain near the bottom.

Striker Medlock opened his and Horsham’s account with a trademark free kick having struck the top of the crossbar with an earlier effort and Tipper’s close-range finish made it 2-0 at the break.

With the second half less than ten minutes old Medlock had completed his hat-trick, the second from an Ellis Hooper error in what was another poor defensive showing from Paul Faili’s men.

Sub Millard did find the net for Bridges with a fine strike but it was too late to affect the end result and the 4-1 win is Simon Colbran’s biggest victory since taking over as Horsham manager last season.
