The Reds were beaten by a 73rd minute goal by former player Mat Sadler.Yems' side had more shots and corners than their opponents but it counted for nothing in the end.

Yems said: "How we haven't got anything out of the game I don't know. But I do know how they scored we never stopped them getting the cross into the box yet again as we have been saying all season.

"We have got to improve. If we don't improve that will happen to us more than it won't."

When asked if he was impressed with any element of the Reds display, Yems said: "I wasn't impressed at all because we lost. I get impressed with the desire, I get impressed with everything we do but how can you be impressed when you come off the pitch losing 1-0?"

Crawley Town now prepare for a trip to Torquay in the FA Cup on Sunday.
