Dan Hector's 55th minute strike looked to have consigned the Hornets to their sixth consecutive away defeat in the league.

But the Horsham legend struck in injury time to claim a priceless point for the Yellows.

The draw sees the stay in Hornets sixth and a place off the play-off spots.

Horsham are a point behind fifth-placed Carshalton Athletic going into Saturday's home game against mid-table Haringey Borough.

Dominic Di Paola made four changes from Saturday's agonising defeat at ten-man Cray Wanderers.

Kieran Lavery, returning to the first eleven after a short spell at SCFL Premier Division side Horley Town, came in for Rob O'Toole, who was absent from the match day squad.

Steve Metcalf and Greg Cundle were unable to shake off knocks picked up at the weekend and dropped to the bench. The pair were replaced by Dylan Merchant and Chris Smith.

Joe Shelley also missed out through injury. Will Miles was his replacement.

Kingstonian had the game's first clear cut opportunity on the quarter-of-an-hour mark.

A great through ball from inside the K's half sent Eddie Dsane away.

The forward beat his man before unleashing a shot that took a deflection and hit the outside of the post.

The Hornets replied with a couple of chances of their own.

Lavery headed wide from a Harvey Sparks cross before Kingstonian's Fabio Saraiva produced a marvellous goal-stopping tackle to deny Smith at close-range.

The K's turned defence into attack seven minutes before the break.

Goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey made a great stop to keep out Jack Brivio's deflected shot.

From the goal kick, the former Hornets keeper played a long ball forward to Dsane.

The striker held the ball up well before delivering a devilish cross for Dan Bennett, who headed just wide.

The two sides then exchanged blows on the stroke of half-time.

George Bentley produced a brilliant low save to keep out Bennett's venomous half-volley.

And, mere moments later, Lee Harding cracked the inside of the post after a buccaneering run forward.

The second half saw the Hornets carve out two chances inside the opening nine minutes.

Lavery and Harding both saw efforts well claimed by Tolfrey.

But, despite Horsham's bright start to the half, Kingstonian went ahead on 55 minutes.

Bentley came charging off his line hoping to claim Tom Kavanagh's long pass.

But Hector got their first and brilliantly lifted the ball over Bentley from the corner of the 18-yard box to put the K's ahead.

After the goal the game descended into a stop-start affair, and supporters had to wait until 75 minutes for a half-chance.

Brivio headed Kenny Beaney's in-swinging free-kick over his own bar as Kingstonian looked to press their advantage.

Cundle and Charman were thrown on for Horsham in search for an equaliser and the change paid off as the Hornets levelled at the death.
