Lancing delighted over FA Vase news
Lancing are the county's remaining side left in the FA Vase which the FA have announced will be played to a conclusion after football resumes.
The Lancers said they were 'really pleased' to receive confirmation that the FA still plans to continue Vase fixtures from April.

Hide AdA Lancing spokesman said: "While the curtailment of the 2020/21 campaign has come as a disappointment to all once again, our teams are looking forward to returning to competitive football as soon as possible and once safe to do so.
"We hope to hear more from the SCFL, SECWFL, ACYFL, the FA and fellow clubs about ideas for continuing some form of competitive football, alongside our FA Vase campaign, shortly, across all of our senior squads.
"Following successive lockdowns, it will be a huge moral boost for our squads to have some form of competitive football to bridge the gap between the end of March and the 21/22 pre-season."
Lancing have already beaten Reading City, Worthing Utd and North Greenford and now await a fourth-round tie with Flackwell Heath, with a place in the last 16 at stake. There will be a £1,875 prize pot for the winners of fourth-round games.
