Langney Wanderers release club statement on management pair

Simon Colbran and Daryl Williard have resigned from their positions as manager and first team coach at Langney Wanderers.

A statement on the club's website said: "Langney Wanderers are sad to announce that Simon Colbran and Daryl Willard have both resigned their positions as Manager and 1st team Coach with immediate effect.

"The club can only express its disappointment at the timing of the announcement with the season about to resume, we have been informed that this is due to a change in personal circumstances for both Simon and Daryl and neither could continue their roles.

"We would like to thank them both for their efforts last season before its early curtailment.

"We now accepting applications in writing for the position of first team manager.

"Please forward applications to the club secretary before 31st July 2020 [email protected]."

Retweeting the announcement, Colbran said: "Good luck for the future, great people and great club"
