And now they face Bournemouth on the weekend of January 23/24. If they win that game they will face either Fulham or Burnley in the fifth round.

Yems had a breakdown after being axed by Bournemouth in 2018 and has suffered from depression. He told the Mirror recently: "I was Mr Angry after what happened at Bournemouth. I wouldn’t have employed me at the time. Thinking everyone would give you a job for the work you’ve done at Bournemouth with Bournemouth telling people I didn’t have much to do with it.

“I walked out of the cub after six and a half years, going from League One to the Premier League with £3,800 redundancy. I was out of the game for a long time and I made a promise to myself never to treat anyone I knew like that."

And fans took to social media to react. Dan Hyre posted on Facebook: "Had to be Bournemouth away didn’t it! The revenge of Yems.."

David Kinsley said: "Easy. Nice to progress."

Andrew Hayes posted: "We'll fancy that one. They'll prob be more focused on promotion."

The two previous times the Reds have reached the fourth and fifth rounds they played Torquay United and Manchester United in 2010/11 and Hull City and Stoke City in 2011/12 respectively.

The Reds have beaten Torquay United, AFC Wimbledon and Marcelo Bielsa's side on the way to the fourth round and will be looking to at least equal their best ever run which saw them reach the fifth round in 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
