The agreement will commence for the 2014/15 season, from which point the league will carry the Macron Store name in its title.

Macron is a well-known Italian-based manufacturer of sportswear, particularly football apparel products, and is currently expanding its operation via Macron Store outlet franchises being introduced across the UK.

The sponsorship deal will include the provision of a five-figure sum to the league over the period of the contract, availability of Macron products to the league’s member clubs at discounted prices and, from the 2015/16 season, provision of matchballs which will be used in all matches played under the league’s jurisdiction.

Sussex County Football League chairman Steve Nealgrove said: “The league would like to thank Macron Store Hastings, operated by Terry Henham and his son David Henham, for providing this sponsorship opportunity to the league, who would also like to thank its management committee member David Nessling for firstly sourcing and then negotiating the sponsorship deal.”

Terry Henham, on behalf of Macron Store Hastings, said: “We at Macron Store Hastings are very pleased to enter into this sponsorship agreement with the Sussex County Football League, and we look forward to building a sound relationship with the league and its member clubs over the term of the sponsorship arrangement.”
