Goals from Ryan Walton, Elliott Wood and the prolific Lee Robinson saw the Dockers grab all three points.

But Breach said: “It wasn’t as convincing if I’m honest, but it was a brilliant win and a great clean sheet. Especially when they have a player like Charlie Pitcher in their side.

“The first half was very much all us and we should have been three or four-nil up as we wasted some really easy chances. However second half they really came at us and we had to defend superbly and then scored two good goals on the counter.

“Me and Cooky (joint manager) were really pleased with the performance and especially getting a clean sheet away from home to a side like Loxwood. Adam Kneller was superb at Centre Back. But all the lads really dug in and performed well.”

Breach’s side face Ryman South Horsham on Tuesday in the Sussex Senior Cup and the management duo will make some changes.

He said: “We have a few carrying knocks that need a rest and we will do that - however we trust the squad and have no problems with those coming in. In fact the five subs we had Saturday could all feel hard done by being on the bench as they are all in form, so no problems there.

“It’s going to be our toughest game of the season, no question. With the higher ranked clubs you can expect them to rotate and play some youngsters in this cup but Horsham can’t really do that. So we know to expect a strong side.”

The Magpies face Ascot United in the FA Vase on Saturday and the opponents will be an unknown quantity to the Dockers.

Breach said: “It’s a game we are all looking forward too. They are hard to predict as we won’t be able to go and watch them.

“They have had some up and down results but beat top of the table Saturday.

“But I guess they will be saying the same about us. Adam Kneller is away for it but that should be it for players missing.”

And the Vase is a competition Breach and his side want to do well in.

He said: “The FA Vase is a competition we want to have a decent run in.

“Last year we reached this stage and it was the furthest the club have ever been, so we’d like to at least go one step further.

“We aren’t a club with money and a budget so the prize money is important as well. We will go in to it with confidence though and worry about us, not them, and see where we go.”
