The Burgess Hill based side play their home games at the recently opened Bolnore Recreation pitches also known in the local community as The Woodside.

They have managed to build a strong team spirit despite many of the players not knowing other in pre season training back in May. Joint Manager Chris Jump said “We find ourselves in Division Two which is a good standard of football at this age group and we are playing teams that have played together for a number of seasons and that can really show during a match. Jump added “Each week we are making progress, the boys & girls within our squad are enjoying training and playing, and although the results aren’t going our way currently not once do their heads drop, that is what we’ve tried to encourage from the start. We have always said that this season was about creating an environment where players, parents and coaches enjoy the time invested and try to build a foundation for the future of this team.

The management team were also keen to thank the support of all the parents and local business support from DMH Electrical, Wheelbase and Mansell McTaggart. Joint Manager Neil Bilton said “The parents support is of absolute importance, without them none of what we are trying to do would be possible, they commit time week in week out. We have tried to create a very open and honest policy where parents can approach any of the training staff with anything. Bilton added “We have also been very lucky with three local business offering support and sponsorship so the onus on parent parting with more money through the season has been taken away.
