Masters makes Borough switch

Former Hastings United goalkeeper Clark Masters has signed for Eastbourne Borough.

The 24-year-old joined The U’s just before the start of last season before going on to play 25 times in the Blue Square Bet Premier for Barrow.

Hastings-born Masters previously played youth team football for Brighton & Hove Albion and Gillingham before making 12 appearances in four years as a professional with Brentford.

Another ex-Hastings player, striker Carl Rook, 28, has switched to Borough from Blue Square Bet South rivals Dartford.
