Midhurst handed home senior cup draw - but Chichester and Selsey travel

MIDHURST are the only local Observer area side handed a home tie in the first round of the Sussex Senior Cup.

They’ll host Arundel at Rotherfield, while Selsey and Chichester both travel – the Blues to Crowborough and City to Little Common.

In round two, Pagham will entertain Eastbourne Town while the Rocks will visit Rye.

Midhurst, should they get through, will be away to Eastbourne Borough; Selsey will be at home to Burgess Hill if they are still involved, and Chichester will play Southwick or Storrington if they progress.

Brighton are the current holders of the trophy – they beat Eastbourne Borough in July’s 2010-11 final, the first competitive match at the Amex.
