United have traditionally played their midweek home matches on Tuesday nights, but have this season switched to Mondays to avoid clashing with televised Champions League and international games.

Both clubs go into the fixture on the back of opening day victories on Saturday. The U’s began life in Ryman Football League Division One South with a 1-0 victory away to Chipstead thanks to Matt Maclean’s strike at the end of the first half.

Mark Stapley and Terry White took temporary charge of the side following the resignation of player-manager Sean Ray just three days before the start of the league campaign.

Walton finished bottom of Division One South last term, but made a great start to the new campaign with a come-from-behind 5-3 victory at home to a Faversham Town side which reached the play-offs in 2012/13.

Casuals found themselves 2-0 down in the opening 20 minutes, but former Kingstonian favourite Bobby Traynor and Connor French pulled them back on terms before the break and French put them 3-2 up on 66 minutes.

Rhys Lawson equalised for the Kent side, but Malik Ouani and Traynor again – from the spot this time – scored in the final eight minutes to complete the turnaround.

Kick-off tonight is 7.45pm and if you can’t make it, follow @SimonNewstead on Twitter for updates.
