New six-a-side football league launched in Bognor

Soccersixes are welcoming new six-a-side teams to join their new Sunday evening league at Bognor's Arena Sports Centre. It starts this weekend and matches will be staged all year round.

The league will be an addition to the Soccersixes Monday and Tuesday night leagues already running at the Arena every week.

Matches run from 6pm to 8pm with organisers looking to start two divisions with promotion and relegation between them.

Teams who join before the start of the league will receive complementary shirts. Each game will be officiated by FA-affiliated referees. Teams will also enjoy a 40-minute match.

There is no joining fees for the league – teams just pay a match fee each week which covers the referee and pitch fees. Teams can consist of anything from six to nine players in their squad every week.
