No concern for Hughton about form after international breaks

Albion have yet to win after an international break this season but Chris Hughton believes the stat is purely a coincidence.

After the three international breaks so far this season, Albion have lost 2-0 at home to Brentford and drawn with Preston (2-2) and Aston Villa (1-1) at the Amex.

Hughton said: "I think it's just a coincidence. There are probably lots of coincidences that you can pull out in a season.

"We've certainly prepared ourselves the best way we can and I think with anything like that, if it's something that has happened, a trend that has happened, what you want to do is change that.

"We'll certainly be giving everything to get a win on Saturday."

Looking ahead to tomorrow's match with Blackburn, who are unbeaten in seven games under new manager Tony Mowbray, Hughton said: "There's no easy games. Tony has gone there and they've had this change in fortune.

"I don't see it as any different to other fixtures that we have got coming up. Birmingham will be desperate to get a result, QPR are in very good form, Wigan are fighting to get out of the bottom three, Wolves have got great quality, there are no easy games but it's the same for the others.

"When you're looking at the fixtures that other teams have, they've equally got tough fixtures as well. We just need to make sure we get enough points from ours."
