Number One rapper to perform at Kuipers’ testimonial

Rapper Wiley will perform at the Amex tomorrow night (Tuesday) in the run-up to Michel Kuipers’ testimonial match between Brighton & Hove Albion and Reading.

The artist, who notched his first number one single with his song Heatwave, is looking forward to appearing at the Albion’s ground, and will include his chart-topping track along with a selection of his other well-known songs.

Speaking after the announcement Kuipers, who currently plays for Crawley Town, said, “It is going to be a fantastic event, I couldn’t have wished for a better line-up for my testimonial. “I am delighted to get such a high profile artist to come down and perform for me and all the Albion fans.

“It will be a night to remember and I hope to share it with as many people from the Brighton community as possible.”

Albion fans can also enjoy more music after the final whistle when Brighton based band Two Choices will be performing in Dicks Bar and there will also be limited edition pie that will be on sale.

Tickets are still available and the club are expecting a bumper crowd for the celebration of the legendary keepers career, with prices set at £15 for adults, £12 for over 65’s and just £6 for under 16’s.

Brighton will be hoping to carry on their recent good form. The Seagulls beat Champions League winners Chelsea 3v1 at the weekend, with goals from AShley Barnes, Vicente and Andrew Crofts cancelling out an opener from Frank Lampard.
