Pagham slip up again - but Selsey find more home comfort

That’s three losses in four now for Pagham after a long unbeaten run that carried them into the top three.

But the games keep on coming for Price’s team as all county league sides play catch-up after weeks of weather-inflicted misery.

They go to East Grinstead on Saturday then welcome Selsey to Nyetimber Lane on Tuesday night.

Selsey continue to impress in front of their own fans.

A third straight home victory at the High Street Ground - 3-2 over Hassocks - was secured by an 89th-minute own goal.

Connor Cody put the Blues in front after 16 minutes and that was the way it stayed until Nathan Cooper levelled on the hour.

Jack Williamson restored the lead ten minutes later and in a frantic finish, both sides scored in the last minute of normal time, with Ross Woolf forcing a Hassocks defender into the clinching own goal.

For Adam Hinshelwood’s team, it was a third home success in 12 days. And they’ve scored 11 goals in those three games, which also included a 5-0 hammering of AFC Uckfield and a last-gasp 3-2 win against Worthing United.

They’re up to 15th in the table and will look to continue their winning ways when Ringmer visit on Saturday.
