a welcome home draw in FA Vase – provided they can overcome Larkhall Athletic in their rescheduled third round clash.

The Tye website reported today: “If we are able to overcome Larkhall Athletic in the 4th Round of the FA Vase then we will have a home draw on the 8th February.

“The winners of of the 4th round will be at home to either the team closest to us or the team furthest away: Tunbridge Wells (34 miles) or current FA Vase holders, Dunstan UTS (350 miles).

“So provided we win it looks like a great draw for the town of Peacehaven and will be either a short trip for TW or a lengthy one from Gateshead.”

The third round tie scheduled to take place away at Larkhall Athletic on Saturday was postponed due to the heavy snowfall.

The Sussex club said: “Hopefully, provided Larkhall can clear the snow, our 4th round tie will be next Saturday at 3pm. This will be followed by Hastings United in the Sussex Parafix FA Cup on the 30th January at 7.45pm.”
