Pompey talent shines for Three Lions

Adam Webster shone on his international debut tonight.

The Pompey defender helped his England under-18 team-mates to a 2-0 triumph over Italy.

Webster, 17, played the full 90 minutes at Mansfield’s One Call Stadium as Chistopher Long and Manchster City’s Devante Cole hit the target for the Three Lions.

A total of six substitutes were used by England boss Noel Blake but Pompey’s West Wittering-born talent remained on the pitch from start to finish.
