With Markie trying to carve an opening up front and with Hubbard going on mazy runs, the Colts should have scored first when Hubbard ran through but shot wide. With Kearns Hubbard and Williams battling away in midfield, the Colts lacked only an end product.

The second half started with Cogger in the Colts goal producing a couple of saves to deny Worthing.

The breakthrough came when Nicholas played a lovely ball into Hubbard who ran into the box and calmly slotted home.

With Mines covering every blade, the second arrived when Nicholas’s run allowed Hubbard to run 30 yards and produce a superb left-foot shot which gave the keeper no chance.

Partridge came on to shore up the defence and see the Colts advance to the next round.

MoM was Searle

FELPHAM: Cogger, Blunt, Searle, Mines, Hubbard, Nicholas, Markie, Kearns, Williams.
