Oscar Garcia picked up his first three points as Seagulls boss in the away trip to Birmingham a fortnight ago and followed it up with a 2-0 win at home to Burnley last Saturday.

This weekend’s visitors are in a bit of a slump of late and a win for Steve Lomas’s men may alleviate some of the pressure from the Irishmen’s back.

Andrea Orlandi has had a setback with his knee injury but could still be involved in Saturday’s clash, whereas Ashley Barnes (knee) and Keith Andrews (hamstring) both look likely to feature in the squad.

Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles), Bruno (hamstring), Liam Bridcutt (hernia) and Will Hoskins (knee) are all still sidelined.

The Lions are hoping that David Forde and Liam Trotter will both be ready to take part in the tie, but they will be without Steve Morison after the striker underwent a hernia operation.

Jermaine Easter and Dany N’Guessan are both doubtful.

Form

The Seagulls have now won back to back games to nil, and have climbed to 10th in an early Championship table.
