The Dutchman opened his account for Albion in Tuesday’s defeat at Leicester, and is now looking towards some key fixtures against sides also at the bottom of the table.

Brighton are three points above the relegation zone, and play rock bottom Huddersfield this afternoon at the Amex in search of their first Premier League win of 2019.

Propper said: “We have a lot of big games coming up, especially at home, we feel confident at home. We know what we have to do.

“We play good fixtures at home and we’re always happy to play at home and we feel really confident so I hope even in this situation we have the confidence to play.

"It’s tight but we know where we are and what kind of team we are, I hope we don’t get nervous. We do what we do best, we have some home games and now that needs to happen.

“I think last year we weren’t really in this situation so that’s new, but I’m confident.”
