Rain fells Hastings’ friendly at Sevenoaks

HASTINGS United’s pre-season friendly away to Sevenoaks Town tomorrow (Tuesday) has been cancelled due to the seemingly never ending wet weather.

The Kent League club had hoped to beat the rain but a downpour on Monday morning meant there was no alternative but to concede defeat.

Hastings’ next game is the big one at home to Gus Poyet’s Brighton & Hove Albion team on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.

Advance tickets are on sale, priced at £10 for adults and £3 for under-18s. A family ticket (two adults and two under-18s) is priced at £22 and is only available in advance.

Tickets can be purchased from Smart Property Solutions in Hastings town centre at 41 Havelock Road or from Hastings United FC (for opening times call 01424 444635).
