Ramsay heads Rye to victory

Scott Ramsay scored the only goal of a forgettable Sussex County Football League Division One fixture with a glancing header from a 69th minute cross by Danny Ellis.

In another uneventful Division One game, Sidley United picked up a creditable 0-0 draw away to Redhill. Kevin Bird missed a good chance early on and both sides struck the crossbar during the second half.
