Sean Ray’s 78th minute strike condemned Bexhill to a 1-0 loss away to Sussex County Football League Division Two leaders Eastbourne United AFC, ending their four-match winning run.

The result leaves Bexhill seven points behind Loxwood - who occupy the third and final promotion place - having played three more matches. Bexhill are the only side to have beaten Eastbourne in the league this season following their come-from-behind 3-2 victory in September’s reverse fixture.
