Ringmer Football Club have achieved FA Charter Standard Adult Club status.

The club were recently presented with their award prior to their home fixture against East Preston in the Sussex County Football League.

The award (pictured above) was presented by Sussex County FA County Development Manager, Kevin Tharme (right centre), to Ringmer Chairman Bob Munnery (left centre).

The FA Charter Standard Club Programme was established to provide recognition that clubs are well run, sustainable, with child protection and safety paramount.

It also recognises that the club’s commitment to coaching, player and coach development and the raising of standards of behaviour in the game.

Mr Munnery said: “This is a fantastic achievement by old and new at the club. Being a village playing senior football is only possible with these volunteers, the same volunteers who have made Charter Standard a reality at Ringmer.

It’s our intention to continue to raise standards and apply them throughout Ringmer Football Club”.

The Sussex County FA would like to congratulate Ringmer on their achievement and wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.
