Rocks in luck with Tuck at Dulwich

A very even first half saw chances falling to both sides.
Some good early passing between Prior – who is on a month’s loan from Margate – and Alex Parsons looked set to breach the Dulwich defence early on. But they couldn’t produce the finish to match the good approach work.
Bognor had a fantastic Chris Winterton save to thank for keeping them level as he managed to push away a Shawn McCoulsky effort.

Hide AdBognor nearly took the lead but Ollie Pearce’s header went over the bar. However, he had been ruled offside anyway, so it would not have counted.
A few moments later Dulwich’s Xavier Vidal caused Winterton problems again, but the Rocks keeper was alert to any danger.
With the second half under way, Winterton was the man keeping Bognor in the game keeping out Kershaney Samuels.
Despite the Dulwich pressure it was Bognor who took the lead in the 52 minute. Tuck collected the ball on the edge of the box and rifled a shot into the corner of the net.

Hide AdBognor continued to have the better chances and Prior nearly scored but his header was cleared off the line.
Dulwich keeper Oshane Brown nearly gifted the Rocks a second. He messed up his clearance and Harvey Whyte gathered the ball but couldn’t make the most of the chance presented to him.
The Rocks were looking for a second to kill the game off but could not find a way past Brown.
Prior came closest on 78 minutes when his drive was tipped over the bar. But the one goal was enough to see them record a good victory at Champion Hill.
BOGNOR: Winterton, Crane, Medway, Tuck, Sackman, Robson, Whyte, Thomson (Da Costa), Prior, Parsons, Pearce (Lawson). Subs not used: Warren, Branfoot, Green.
