Ryman League Boxing Day matches called off

This afternoon’s Ryman League matches between our local teams were called off this morning due to waterlogged pitches.

Pitch inspections were carried out at Gorings Mead and The Havens for the scheduled local derby games between Horsham v Three Bridges and Crawley Down Gatwick v Merstham but both ended up being casualties of the recent storm.

Horsham are due to travel to Leatherhead this Saturday (3pm), although this must also be in doubt as the town suffered severe flooding due to the River Mole busting its banks.

Three Bridges return to Jubilee Field for their next game on Saturday December 28 where the visitors will be Walton Casuals.

Crawley Down Gatwick travel to fellow Sussex side Eastbourne Town.
